I can’t find my name on the RSVP list—what do I do?

First off—don’t panic! 😅 If you’re trying to RSVP and your name isn’t showing up: Double-check the spelling. We used the name(s) exactly as they were entered when the invites went out. Try just your first name or your last name alone. If you're replying for multiple people, try searching under the primary guest's name. Still no luck? Shoot us a message or email, mariebuettgenbach@gmail.com, and we’ll get it sorted out right away. We want you there—we probably just had a typo. 💌

What time should we arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. We suggest arriving between 4:45-5:00 PM to find parking and get settled. There is a lot directly across the street from Vintage Ballroom.

What date should I RSVP by?

Please let us know by July 2nd, 2025 whether you will be attending or not.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

We suggest semi-formal to formal attire

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the same location, Vintage Ballroom, 614 S 11th St, Omaha, NE 68102

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Although we love and adore the children in our lives, due to space restriction, we cannot accomodate guests under 21 years of age on our wedding day unless otherwise stated. Please refer to your invitation.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We'll be serving heavy hors d'oeuvres with plenty of options to choose from

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

What's the wedding itinerary?

Our wedding will take place at Vintage Ballroom on August 2, 2025 and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Followed by cocktail hour and the reception which is anticipated to end around 11:30 PM.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

The doors to the venue will open at 4:30 PM, which is one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 5:30 PM. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat

What should I expect after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures downtown. Guests are welcome to enjoy drinks and snacks and a violinist and guitarist will be playing music from 6PM-7PM. Beginning at 7PM heavy hor d'voures will be available with dancing to follow.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Will there be assigned seating?

As we’re embracing a casual and informal style for our reception, we will have limited reserved seating available only for our close family and friends. Our reception will feature a variety of pub-style tables, and instead of a traditional sit-down meal, we’ll be serving an assortment of hearty appetizers throughout the evening. We encourage everyone to mingle and enjoy the festivities in a relaxed atmosphere. We believe in the beauty of an intimate and sentimental celebration and are so grateful to have so many wonderful friends and family to share it with. With that in mind, we’re excited to bring everyone together, even if it means we have a larger guest list than we initially envisioned. Your presence means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

Will there be seating at the ceremony?

We’re excited to share our special day with you! Please note that due to space constraints seating will be limited. While we welcome everyone to attend, please be aware that it may be a standing-only situation. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility, and we can’t wait to celebrate together! The ceremony is expected to end around 6 PM and there will be a cocktail hour from 6 PM to 7 PM - if you are unable to attend the ceremony, this would be a great time to arrive for the evening celebration.
